Wow, what a headset! I finally upgraded from my Turtle Beach X1 and I must say, what a difference. This thing does it all, and I can use it both on my PS3 and Xbox 360 with ease. First of all the set up seems a little daunting, but read the directions carefully and you should have it up and running in no time. The next thing to get use to is the set up of the buttons, now there are not that many on the headset, but some buttons are a little difficult to figure out when you first put it on, like switching it from PS mode to Xbox mode, since its the same button turns on the unit. Oh and you have to have the headset on so that you can hear the voice tell you what mode it is on, this also goes for the presets, but by just holding the power button down for a few seconds you can switch it easily.

Since the PS3 uses BT (blue tooth) to communicate with other players in multiplayer you need to set up that as well. Anyone who has connected a BT device to their PS3 before should have no problem doing this. What’s cool about this head set is that you can par two BT devices at the same time, one being the PS3 and the other your BT enabled cell phone, this has two functions for the PS3: one being the most obvious, you can take calls while playing a game. The second use is nifty as well, though not that needed while using the Xbox, if your phone has a music library, you can pump that through the headset and talk to friends at the same time since you have multiple volume controls which is nice since the PS3 doesn’t have custom music for all games.
